Standard Wash – For most oriental and area rugs

  • Inspection
  • Dusting-to remove all dirt, sand, and grit; not once or twice. We dust as long as it takes to remove harmful contaminates that are in the pile.
  • Stain treatment
  • Natural Deodorizer
  • All natural soaps
  • Fringe scrub and refresh. Trimming if needed
  • Finishing

Deep Wash – for heavily soiled, pet damage, water damage, moth damage

  • Inspection

Hand Wash – for delicate and Antiques- John Kazanjian Mastered Process. Dusting (to remove all dirt, sand, and grit). Not once or twice! We dust as long as it takes to remove harmful contaminates that are in the pile.

Rug is identified, measured and examined. You will get a history and a valuation to help choose cleaning option. This examination includes the following:

  • Stains, color bleeding, discoloration and browning
  • Shading
  • Moth Damage
  • Wear and Fray
  • Worn and frayed or damage fringes
  • Pet and other organic odors and residue (ie, urine, stool)
  • Water damage and dry rot

VERY IMPORTANT PROCESS:  Not once..not twice…We spend time to ensure all the sand, dirt, dust, and grit is removed.

Not all rugs are cleaned the same way.  Antiques, tapestries, delicate, and silk rugs are cleaned by hand.  Rugs with organic odors and residues are treated through a “deep wash” process,  with enzymes, natural soaps and deodorizers.  Most rugs will be cleaned by our the Rug Wash. process.

Rugs are in a temperature controlled environment that removes humidity and allows your rug to dry naturally.

When rug cleaning is complete, we vacuum the rug again, trim any loose fibers and do one final inspection to make sure the rug cleaning results satisfy our high standards.
